The weather in Ouray is normally mild during the day and cool in the evening. Ouray is a friendly, family town that shows its old west heritage. On the street, you are as likely to meet a resident deer, as a fellow guest. This is a place as far from the maddening world as you can get without a passport. These deluxe guestrooms are spacious (from 285-320 square feet) and many offer some of the best views of the surrounding mountains. Each are comfortably decorated and feature two queen beds, a nightstand, dresser, a parson table with two armchairs, refrigerator, remote control cable television, clock radio, iron and ironing board, hairdryer, direct dial telephone with dataports and a ceiling fan. There is an open closet area with a luggage rack and extra pillows. The bathroom has a tub/shower combination with a separate sink and vanity area.

The peak time for the summer wildflowers is at the end of July and into August.
