Informal open-air restaurant built on stilts right on the beach with a breathtaking panor amic view of the South China Sea! An open kitchen counter serves the best of Malaysian fare and a generous spread of Western cuisine for lunch or dinner. For breakfast, there is a choice of Continental, American or full buffet. Yue Yuen Chinese Restaurant

Designed in a graceful contemporary concept with wooden lattices over glass panels. Soft Chinese classical music and excellent service. S ampan Bar

An actual s ampan boat has been converted to the unique bar that is now a signature feature at the hotel. It was originally a refugee boat, which landed on the shore near the hotel in May 1980. The hotel then purchased this historic vessel from the United Nations and the money was donated to the Vietn amese Refugee Fund. The salvaged boat was then permanently "anchored" near the hotel's front and converted to a bar. Cool breezes from the sea makes the Bar a relaxing and enjoyable venue for pre- and post-dinner drinks, beers, cocktails and soft drinks. - Weather permitting, open: Monday to Friday: 3 pm - 11.00 pm; Saturday and Sunday: 12 noon - 11.00 pm

* The Meranti Ballroom is a multi -purpose function hall with a capacity of up to 450 people for dinner, located at the lower lobby level. It can be divided into 2 smaller meeting rooms. * There are also five meeting rooms located on the lobby level, designed to cater for smaller functions, meetings and seminars. Each of these five meeting rooms can accommodate up to 25 people. Named after indigenous trees, they are Nyatoh, Chengal and Ramin I, II and III. Ramin rooms can be joined to accommodate a group of up to 75 people.
