Deluxe parkview rooms on the top floor feature private balconies. All rooms contain a CD player and discs can be borrowed from the front desk. All rooms are also equipped with air cooling systems, trouser press, tea/coffee making facilities, broadband 10 mbps access and TV with a premium selection of channels. Valet parking is of course available. The material used by the hotel's architect, Olle Rex, is mainly marble and cherry wood. The wood accentuates and softens the rooms creating a warm and very pleasing atmosphere. The marble adds to the feeling of elegance.

Directions

Berns Hotel is centrally located in Stockholm, in the very heart of the main business and shopping district. The China Theatre is located across the street and the Royal Dramatic Theatre is on the opposite side of the small Berzelii Park. The Stockholm-Arlanda airport is located 45km north of the city and will take approx 40 minutes by car. With the Arlanda Express guests will reach the Central Station in less than 20 minutes and add to that a 5 minute taxi ride to the hotel. The well known square of 'Stureplan', where most of Stockholm's popular bars, restaurants and night clubs can be found is a mere 3 minute walk from the hotel. Sightseeing boats and buses depart within walking distance from the hotel. The famous Vasamuseum, Museum of modern art and the City Hall are also within easy reach.

Berns has been a traditional meeting place for 141 years and is one of Stockholm?s best known restaurant sites. At Berns you can eat and drink in a unique setting where old meets new, where traditional grandeur is combined with discreet intimacy. In 1999 Berns reopened, after one year of renovation, with a new restaurant and bar concept. Today Berns has a modern Restaurant, Lounge bar, Cocktail bar, Wine bar, Nightclub and two private dining rooms. The Restaurant, situated in the larger of the two salons, has room for 250 guests to enjoy the classic and innovative Swedish and international food. Berns also offers a quality hotel and a highly regarded conference venue.

Berns has eight meeting rooms of various sizes, ranging from Näckström Sviterna, perfect for smaller groups, to China Teatern, one of Stockholms largest locations for conferences, which seats up to 1300 persons.
