This hotel occupies one of the best locations in Moscow for both business and leisure. There is a unique collection of Suites with breathtaking views over Red Square, the Kremlin and St. Basil's Cathedral. Each room has its own original antique furniture dating back to the times of Louis XV and the Tsar Empire. On the National Club floor, the bedrooms are fully furnished with up-to-date office equipment providing an ideal environment for business. In March 1918 the hotel became the 'First House of Soviets' and accommodated members of the Bolshevik Government. Vladimir Lenin, the leader of the government stayed in room No. 107 before he moved to the Kremlin. All rooms are traditionally furnished and decorated, have air conditioning and double glazing, and are equipped with dial direct telephone, cable and satellite television, radio, minibar and trouser press.
