Porto

Theatre and Musicals

Theatre and musicals are popular choices for entertainment in Porto and the theatres and concert halls host all kinds of events, including plays, concerts, ballet, opera etc. Most of the art galleries are concentrated in the Cedofeita area (ten minutes by car from the hotel). The Serralves Contemporary Art Museum was built by the famous Portuguese architect, Alvaro Siza, in 1999. If you want to try the famous Porto wine and feel it's rich composition, body and long lasting flavour, you have to visit the wine cellars in Ribeira, (ten minutes by car from the hotel).

Foz

If you would like to be among the beautiful and chic of Porto, head to the Foz, (three minutes by car from the hotel), right by the sea, where you will notice the designer clothes and expensive cars. While this area is full of bars and restaurants, the wooden esplanades built over the sand are the most popular, and very delightful for having a drink and basking in the sun.
