The original name of Astor House Hotel is Richard Hotel, the building of which can be dated back to 1846. It was the first western hotel in the Far East.It has a history of more than 150 years, experiencing the five generations of Dao Guang, Xian Feng, Tong Zhi, GuangXu and Xuan Tong of Qing Dynasty, leaping over the Republic of China and stepping into new China.
