The Mary Prentiss Inn is a luxurious Historic Bed and Breakfast that sits just minutes from Harvard Square, downtown Cambridge, MA, only four blocks from nearest subway stop -Porter Sq Red Line T-stop. This 1843 Country Estate today is set in an urban landscape with world renowned universities, theatres, one of a kind boutiques, restaurants and a museum. All major Boston attractions are only four miles or a fifteen minute subway ride away. The House was built in neoclassic Greek Revival Style and listed in National Register of Historic Places. Each of 20 rooms features unique antique cannon-ball or four-poster beds. The gourmet breakfast is served daily, as well as afternoon tea with home made baked goods. On warm mornings eat under the shade of the Linden tree on our outdoor terrace surrounded by an array of blossoming flowers. On cool mornings sit in the parlor room by the warmth of the crackling fire. All rooms are equipped with A/C, colored TV, and telephone with modem hookup.

Comfortable quiet room. A queen-size four-poster bed, antique desk with chair, oversized custom-built armoire and wing chair furnish this room. Floor lamp, reading lamps over the bed make the room cozy and romantic. The bathroom features a shower bar for those who require extra assistance while bathing. Unique art work throughout the room shows the New England character decor.
Standard Room 2 Twin Beds
Comfortable and nice, this room is for travelers who prefer two twin beds in the room. Antique desk and wing chair, over-sized armoire or antique dresser and floor lamp furnish this quiet room. Unique art work adds to the Cambridge character of the decor constantly mentioned by our guests as "our favorite room at the Inn".
Suite 1 Queen Bed
Romantic and spacious suite features high ceilings with picture moldings. A queen-size, four-poster bed sits in the alcove or on the second level of the loft. Sitting area includes couch, wing chair with side table, over-sized custom-built armoire, and desk with chair. There is a large bathroom. The suite also has a small refregerator, bar sink, and microwave, which are useful for long-term guests.
