The superior cottages recreate a communal lodge setting where large groups or families can stay in one four-unit block. Upper-level units come with indoor showers and common balcony while units below feature outdoor showers. Rooms include 2 hollywood twin beds.

CTG - Duplex Cottage
Similar to the superior cottage 2-unit blocks, but 40 percent more spacious, the deluxe duplex offers a snug combination of privacy in the evenings and neighbors to hang out with during the day. The ground floor consists of a comfortable living area, dressing area and outdoor bathroom. Choose from a variety of pool, pond or forest views. Rooms include 2 hollywood twin beds.
COT - Angsana Cottage
The largest among non-suite cottages in Deer Park Hotel and the only ones that offer a lake view. Each cottage boasts a private gazebo, the better to enjoy the view. Room includes 2 hollywood twin beds.
STE - Deluxe Pool Suite
This exclusive suite is a spacious two-story affair, dining room, living room and dvd player and outdoor shower on ground level, as well as two bedrooms, indoor bathrooms and an open veranda on the upper floor. Directions

Starting from Colombo proceed to Kurunegala on the Kandy Road or on the Minuwangoda Road, via Ja-Ela. From Kurunegala turn towards Dambulla and proceed up to Habarana. At Habarana junction turn right onto the Polonnaruwa main road. En-route you will pass Moragaswewa, Ambagaswewa and Minneriya until you reach Giritale. The Deer Park is on the banks of the Giritale reservoir, 10 miles before Polonnaruwa.
