The Hilton Maldives Resort And Spa on is located on Rangali/Rangalifinolhu Islands in the South Ari Artoll, 90km South West of the Capital City of Male' and just half and hours exciting flight away in a sea plane. There are several different ways of arriving in the Maldives but one of the most spectacular is the seaplane ride to Rangali, which lands at a jetty in the middle of the ocean right in the centre of the bridge connecting the two resorts. 26 natural atolls each formed by a natural coral reef gives the Maldives it landmass. Out of the 1190 islands the archipelago has 198 inhabited islands which form a slender chain from 7 degress above the equator. One of the best dive spots in the world the main industry of the Republic is tourism. Its underwater landscape is the most varied, rich and definately the most colourful feature of the island.
