Deer Park Hotel is situated in the ground of Howth Castle. Although only nine miles from Dublin City Centre, it is remarkably peaceful, being surrounded on all sides by golf courses apart from the south, where the spectacular rhododendron gardens cascade down the rocky hillside. Directions

From Dublin Airport take M1 towards Dublin. Leave the motorway at 1st Exit (Junction 3) signed for N32/Malahide. Follow signs for N32. Continue straight over 4 roundabouts and several sets of traffic lights. At T-Junction turn right. At Sutton Cross traffic lights bear left. Deer Park Hotel is on the right after approx. 1.5 miles.

Rhododendron Gardens at the back of hotel. National Transport Museum is situated on the estate grounds in the converted farm buildings and has an extensive collection of old vehicles from all over Ireland. The star of the collection is the No. 9 Howth tram - the last to ever run in Ireland. Scenic walks nearby. Motor boat trips to Ireland's Eye from Howth Harbour.
